Ona was born in Burdeau, France on January 31, 1960. As a trained landscape architect, the first devoted himself to his profession. During this time, he created a space dedicated to the founders of an association destined to promote the arts: Ateliers Tempera. A student of the painter Gérard-Vogel, Singer (the artists´s true name) draws his inspiration from his French and Spanish heritage. His artistic style is based on work with icons and illumination. He feels attached to the paintings of the Renaissance. This "young" painter has exhibited his works pretty much around the world and already enjoys a reputation in the land of the Ferias, in the colours of the sun. The uniqueness of his style is primarily his technique. Starting with acrylic pigments put together in successive coats, he emphasises colour and gives his canvas light and transparency. As well as taking on a poetic role, Ona's works are just as much adventurous journeys as intimate emotions.
